Met a friend for dinner here on a Thursday evening. I haven’t been here since before 2020, they now only have one section of the restaurant, it’s not as big as it used to be but the quality of the food is still the same. We got the edamame as an appetizer and 6 rolls for dinner and mango and chocolate mochi for dessert. Everything was so good and the server was very friendly.

Coast Sushi Bar in Wicker Park is everything I remember, and then some. The sushi and seafood appetizers are phenomenal, the service is divine, and they now have a liquor license! I’m so happy that I was able to enjoy a nice meal on their 20th anniversary, on a Saturday night in Chicago. The Angry Salmon Appetizer and the Firecracker Roll were absolutely perfect! How I miss this city! 🥰🔥🎉 And a special thanks to my amazing server, Ricardo!

We've walked by Coast many times over the last couple years and have always wanted to try it. Tonight we decided to get takeout. I will start off by saying the nigri meal was good. The fish was very tasty and tender. However, the maki rolls were extremely over priced for what we got. There was tons of rice, avocado, and cucumber, but very little fish. We paid 19 dollars for a roll that should have been 6 at a grocery store. If you are looking for a good sushi spot in Wicker, I highly recommend Komorebi.

Ordered delivery. Was trying to rate sushi delivery and this place comes in first place by far each time…Tao even fell short in order in. Rolls are delicious and well Rolled.

My husband and I went here for my first Sushi experience. The service was amazing, the atmosphere is nice and it's BYOB. My husband absolutely loved the sushi I found out that I am more of a thoroughly cooked food person. If you are a sushi person this is definitely a must try!

Delicious food, but here's what you need to know: When it comes to sushi rolls, freshness is critical. But it's not the only field that needs to be checked. Portion is also critical. On a scale of freshness, a clear 5 stars. Someone knows their fish and that highly evident. Their soup and soft shell crab is also delicious. I will critique their sushi roll portion sizes. For $15 a roll, one expects to feel full on 2 rolls. The portions were much smaller than expected for the price. With that said, the portions of my other options were good, and the food was super tasty. This place carries a good reputation and has been around for a long time. It's worth giving a try.
